Q: I have a very sluggish metabolism? Make sure you drink a glass of water before taking the caps and a glass with taking the caps. I like mixing the Gentlelax powder from the capsules in some water on rising and take the Cleansa capsules at the same time. And I take the Digestaid and Supafood with breakfast 30-60 min later. If you have a smoothie; blend the Supafood i n the smoothie and take the Digestaid capsules at the same time. Or add the Supafood to some juice. With the Digestaid; open max 1 or 2, the cayenne is strong/hot. Sometimes when a person has chronic constipation, the herbs are not strong enough to get things moving. It's important that you pass your stool every day, if you don't it would be good to take enema's or do a colonic irrigation. Good question, if the mucoid plaque is present the ultimate cleanse will get rid of it and yes it will clean the colon and small intestines. But I believe if you are a young health person and you pass your stool daily, this mucoid plaque might not be present. If one is generally constipated or if one is 40kg overweight with an acid forming diet there will generally be a few pounds of feces sitting in the colon. An acid forming diet promotes this mucoid plague, therefore I don't think a person on a fresh fruit and fresh vegetables diet with meat in moderation will have this plaque in her/his intestines. (remember that all processed foods are acid forming). Because your blood nourishes all the cells in your body it makes sence that clean blood will make you feel better! And healthy blood carries more oxygen. I guess there is more to be cleaned up besides this mucoid plaque.
No you don't need to have the toilet close by, the cleanse is not designed to give you diarrhea, it contains Cascara Sagrada though, this herb stimulates the peristalsis of the colon, thus promoting defecation. I have had some people telling me they had diarrhea for one day and had 2 or 3 people that had to reduce the Cleansa because of a sensitive system, they went well on 2-3 capsules instead of 5.
Q. Hi there, I was looking at this product, however am breastfeeding my 7 week old baby. Can you advise what impact this product will have on this. It's best to wait till you are not breast feeding anymore. Q. I have Chron's Disease. Would it be ok to use this colon detox. I have CD with constipation.. With diet most people can manage the Chron's Disease, this means you have to educate yourself by paying attention to what foods bring healing and what foods aggravate. I would change the protocol a little though; buy extra Probiotics, i have one here that's very good, cost is $59 for 90 caps Do the recommended diet (mainly fruits, veggies and plenty of non chlorinated water) for 7 days prior taking the caps and take 2 caps Probiotics 15 minutes before breakfast and 2 caps before going to bed. Pay attention to your normal CD symptoms. If constipated on day 4 (of 7) take from the Detox kit the Colon-aid, start with 2 caps 1 hour before going to bed increase to 3 if needed the next day. Than on day 8 start taking the caps following instructions from the booklet but take only 3 caps of each bottle instead of 5, do this for the first 2 days and see how your system responds. Next day continue with normal dose (5 caps of each bottle). If you used Colon-aid caps in the preparation stage take 4 caps for a couple of days. When finished the detox stay on fruits and veggies for 3 more days and take 2 caps Probiotics 15 minutes before breakfast and 2 caps before going to bed. Then slowly start reintroducing your normal diet but ONLY one food at the time, start by fish, next day some dairy, next day some meat etc. Keep wheat products for last, it's probably best you STOP using wheat products altogether. And every day pay attention to what foods aggravate your system and DELETE them from your diet permanantly.
